Get More Referrals Toolkit Intro

Transcript: In 2017, we conducted a Referability study and heard from a diverse group of over 500 advisors on the ins and outs of growth through referrals. From that original research, we identified nine key elements of Referability. Five years later in 2022, we were curious what had changed, what hadn't, and what was the impact of the covid pandemic on referrals. We heard from over 250 advisors and what we discovered was interesting. While many of the best practices from the original study remained, there were some key findings that stood out in the Revisited 2022 research. If there is one best practice that every firm should be using to increase their referability, it is to be process driven and to have a referral strategy. The most referable firms, those generating 26 referrals a year on average, have a defined referral strategy, as well as defined processes across all areas of their business at a much higher percentage than their peers get started building your referral strategy with the Referability Scorecard. This is the first step in defining your strategy and getting more referrals. Keep going to hear more findings from the updated referral research best practices, and to access tools to define your referral strategy with the Get More Referrals toolkit.
