For Financial Intermediary Use Only. Not For Retail Distribution. DFS Illustrator Our DFS Illustrator is an interactive tool that you can use with investors who are nearing retirement and in need of retirement income or for clients currently using our DFS program. Keeping your clients' options open. Investors can increase, reduce, or stop distributions as needs change, and they are free to redeem shares without penalty at any time. Growth is also an objective, so when the time comes, any remaining assets can be passed on to their heirs. We believe DFS offers investors more flexibility and greater diversification than traditional, yield- based approaches alone. Ultimately, the aim of the DFS program is to provide steady cash flows while maintaining efficient exposure across capital markets and preserving the potential for growth. The principal balance of the portfolio may be depleted prior to a portfolio's target end date, and therefore distributions may end earlier than expected. This risk increases if the distribution amount chosen is a significant portion of the starting principal. For those entering retirement: You can create a new illustration to find the appropriate risk level, strategy, and distribution rate to meet their income needs. With the illustration, you can view the probable outcome based on the key values and adjust as needed to compare the options. For existing clients: The DFS Illustrator may be used in an effort to ensure that the client is on track for their retirement goals. If the account is not on track, you can adjust the values to help determine a more desirable outcome.
