Evergy is an american electric utility company and is among the largest wind energy supplies in the U.S. Objective: Address material ESG risks, improve management of carbon and community relations, enhance human capital risk assessment, and expand disclosure around community impact and performance targets. Key outcomes: ● Evergy strengthened disclosure on emergency response risks, expanded its Electrical Safety Certification training for over 300 responders, and enhanced succession planning to reduce workforce gaps. ● They also implemented a more robust ESG risk-management framework, reduced its overall carbon risk profile, and increased transparency around its community development initiatives and benefits.
